God is giving me another adventure...

  Like 30 minutes ago, I got a letter from The People to People Student Ambassadors Program asking me if I would like to participate in a trip to Japan. I would go next summer for 14 days to the Peace Pagoda in Tokyo, climb Mount Fuji, learn the art of the Japanese language, go to an island sacred to Shinto religion, visit Hiroshima's Peace Park, and meet students in Japanese schools. But the really cool thing is all the students that go represent the U.S. So if I go, I would be representing the country! The first thing I thought was God was giving me this opportunity to be a light for Him on the other side of the world!!!

   You see on the last day of school, I won the award for like the best student thing and that was my sign from God that I handled this year the way he intended. One of my best friends went home to Jesus in April but I didn't let it destroy me. I let it build me up for other, more hard situations. But this, to go to Japan!! It's kind of a scary thought to go to a foreign country with out my parents with a group of people I've like never met. Haha, just like my first counselor Natalie would say, "God will never give you more than you can handle." Well.. I'll keep you posted on all this crazy stuff!

an amazing song from camp...

                                                 ~Jesus paid it all~
                                               ................................
                                                 - - - - - - - - - - - - -
                                                I hear the Savior say,

                                                “Thy strength indeed is small;
                                                Child of weakness, watch and pray,
                                                Find in Me thine all in all.”

                                                Jesus paid it all,
                                                All to Him I owe;
                                                Sin had left a crimson stain,
                                                He washed it white as snow.

                                                Lord, now indeed I find
                                                Thy power and Thine alone,
                                                Can change the leper’s spots
                                                And melt the heart of stone.

                                                Jesus paid it all,
                                                All to Him I owe;
                                                Sin had left a crimson stain,
                                                He washed it white as snow.

                                                And when before the throne
                                                I stand in Him complete,
                                                Jesus died my soul to save,
                                                My lips shall still repeat.

                                                Jesus paid it all,
                                                All to Him I owe;
                                                Sin had left a crimson stain,
                                                He washed it white as snow.

                                                Sin had left a crimson stain,
                                                He washed it white as snow,
                                                He washed it white as snow,
                                                He washed it white as snow.

                                                Oh praise the one who paid my debt,
                                                and raised his life up from the dead!

                                                Oh praise the one who paid my debt,

                                                and raised his life up from the dead!

                                                Oh praise the one who paid my debt,

                                                and raised his life up from the dead!

                                                Oh praise the one who paid my debt,

                                                and raised his life up from the dead!

                                                Oh praise the one who paid my debt,

                                                and raised his life up from the dead!
